Join us for a 2 hour, interactive workshop at the Mini Loft (#4-375 4th Avenue). Come sit, relax, sip Kombucha and empower yourself with important knowledge about your core and pelvic floor.
In this workshop you’ll learn:
- If “Kegels” are right for you, and the proper way to do them.
- How dysfunction in your core and pelvic floor can lead to disorders like incontinence, constipation, prolapse, low back pain, pelvic pain, and diastasis recti (ab separation)
- Simple lifestyle modifications and posture adjustments to improve the function of your core and pelvic floor.
- Stretches, breathing techniques and exercises to rehabilitate and strengthen your core and pelvic floor muscles.
You’ll leave this workshop with a better understanding of how to prevent and treat pelvic floor disorders. You’ll receive a handout to recap what was covered in the workshop as well as some homework to set you on the path of good habits to maintain a healthy happy core and pelvic floor.
This workshop is ideal for any age or stage of life, but is especially recommended for pre and postnatal women (remember, if you have ever had a baby – even 30 years ago – you still have a “postnatal” body!)
