Yoga & Mindfulness for Chronic Pain, Physical & Mental Health
Instruction and support provided by Exercise Physiologist / Kinesiologist – Natalie Saari – teaching you the principles of yoga:
· Asana / postures and modifications
· Pranayama / breathing exercises
· Dhyana / meditation
· Mindfulness and related topics
· Relaxation and practical tools for everyday life
Improve strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, core stability and postural alignment. Cultivate awareness and learn the foundations, structure & form of the postures, proper modifications, how to practice yoga safely and effectively for your individual body.
6-WEEK PROGRAM: 2 days per week
1:30 – 2:30 PM Wednesdays & Friday
August 31-October 7
October 12-November 18
(six week session, classes twice a week for 12 classes total)
COST $324 ($340.20 including tax)
This session is a twice a week series with two classes per week- you must register for all classes and attend both classes each week. Please register at least 2 days before the class is scheduled to start.
Class size is kept small to provide each student with individual support. Space is limited, and the program often fills quick.

Natalie began practicing yoga 15+ years ago while studying Human Kinetics in university. At that time, yoga was a means to obtain mindfulness. Balance. As a Kinesiologist and Clinical Exercise Specialist specializing cardiac rehab, chronic pain and mental health, she has woven yoga into her clinical practice, providing yoga to those that need it most. Upon completion of a master teacher training program, she continues to dive deeper into study. With a deep love for yoga, anatomy and physiology, she keeps exploring the vastness of yoga therapy and travel the world. Offerings include Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, active rehab and MBSR. She has developed a Teen Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga Program, and holds extraordinary workshops and retreats.
